Mei Shen
This suit jacket focuses on the use of curved lines, both in the definition of the outfit's pattern and in the final appearance of the garment. A design with very marked and geometric shapes, but, at the same time, easy-to-wear: “In my opinion, Cristóbal Balenciaga's creations work in perfect harmony with the shapes of the body. He respects them instead of distorting them, but this does not prevent his silhouettes from being innovative. An impression that I also wanted to convey through my work”.
Fabrics and construction
The fabric used for the jacket is a fleece made of organic cotton printed with textile printing dyes.
The crepe de Chine skirt, meanwhile, includes abstract digital prints in the form of strokes. The textured silk is complemented by the materiality of the jacket.
